Advanced typography

Keep your type simple and legible, know the rules before you break them.

Skip weight. Bold and light. This helps to get the information across more effectively. As it gives text prioritization.

Flush left, rag right, limit typefaces to 2 or less, avoid same typefaces.

Double point size, for an example headline 60pt, sub 30pt, body copy 15pt

Get handle on ‘Widows’ and ‘Orphans’.

Prioritize legibility, for an example 38–45 characters per line.

Large text must be Kerned.

To ace interviews- passion through portfolios.

Can’t teach passion its instinct, the idea is more important than technique and style.

Story telling is important in design in all aspects.
